Social Justice

St. Mark’s treasures the deep sense of justice as well as the passion for action that inspires many kids and teens. We seek to involve people of all ages in our social justice work in the community, to teach our children the value of global engagement, and to provide opportunities for meaningful action.

From the middle schoolers making sandwiches every month at the Covenant Soup Kitchen, to small children gathering coins for “mite boxes” designed to instill an awareness of the needs of others, to fielding kid fundraising teams for events like the WAIM Walk for Warmth – our children have an opportunity to learn about the world, and begin to make a difference in it.
