Sunday, 07-18-21, The 8th Sunday after Pentecost
This Service was our monthly Lutheran Sunday Service. Unfortunately, again there was no one at the 10 AM service to operate the iPhone to broadcast the service via Facebook Live. This had no effect on my sound recording process.

This was the final service for our student soloist, Angela Garcia-Clark, who served our parish well during the difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the church building was closed to worship for the sake of the safety of the parishioners. She is leaving after having graduated from UConn and found work out of state.

COVID-19 Policy Changes
The Vestry met earlier this week to update St. Mark's covid policy keeping up with the recent CDC guidelines and the Diocese suggestions. 

See below for the following changes: 
  • All books will be replaced in the church pews. 
  • We will continue Communion using individual cups while Clergy and Eucharistic Ministers wear masks. 
  • We will section off pews for people who would like to continue to social distance.
  • People can sing indoors with masks on. 
  • No more reservations will be required for worship services.
  • Our church doors will no longer be locked.
