In our tumultuous times, we offer you a program of music to soothe the soul. Spend a contemplative evening during Lent with the St. Mark’s Chapel Choir and Choral Scholars, accompanied by our beautiful Brombaugh tracker organ. (Snow date is February 23)
This is a benefit concert for the Choral Scholars program - suggested donation $20 Program: Fauré: Cantique de Jean Racine This musical prayer asks Christ for grace and mercy, and for the dispelling of darkness, portraying a spiritual journey from night to divine light. Fauré: Requiem This choral masterpiece is known for its serene, consoling, and intimate approach to death, focusing on eternal rest rather than judgment. This performance, featuring our Brombaugh organ, is sponsored by the JolidonFoundation. Lauridsen: Dirait-on This melodic choral piece is the final movement of Lauridsen’s Les Chansons des Roses cycle, based on a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke that explores the beauty of a rose.

After the 10:00 service (about 11:30) on Sunday, February 15. We will cover the 2025 annual report, the slate of vestry members, and the 2026 budget. There will be a potluck brunch, so please bring a dish if you can.

We are reluctantly cancelling Sunday services on February 8 due to the forecast for extreme cold temperatures (and a little snow). The wind chill is expected to approach -30F.
