CHAPEL CHOIR
The Chapel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30 - 9:15 pm with a warm-up at 9:15 am on Sundays – immediately before our 10 am service. If you would like to join this choir, please contact us at music@stmarkschapel.org.
Along with our priest and paid music staff, the members of the Chapel Choir are the weekly music ministers of our church. They volunteer their time and talent to support the entire congregation in making music that elevates our worship experience and praises God. While most of our choir members have extensive musical background and training, we welcome all ranges of ability to join us.
The Chapel Choir sings one service every Sunday: Holy Communion at 10 am. They also sing for occasional services on special days of the church’s year. Chapel Choir sings a wide range of music, from the most ancient to the most modern. We accept new singers at any time.

YOUTH MUSIC MINISTRYThe people of St. Mark’s have such a vibrant appreciation and love of music. Creating music as a group can be healing, in addition to joyous. We at St. Mark’s want to help the all the youth of our parish and the community increase their knowledge of music and confidence participating in music, while helping to spread the joy of music to others. Our Youth Music Ministry is open to all children, preschool age through 12th grade.

This heritage continues today in the form of public events and workshops, a Community Concert Series (which will return in 2018), hosting concerts for UConn student groups, and collaborative events with our neighbors on faith row to combine our musical talents for the enjoyment of all.
